The Stories feature allows members to boost their profile visibility by sharing short, engaging content that appears prominently across the platform. Users can create text, image, or video stories to showcase their personality, highlight moments, and attract more attention from potential matches.
Stories are designed to be dynamic and time-sensitive, automatically disappearing after 24 hours (with duration fully configurable by the admin). This creates a sense of urgency and encourages frequent interaction.
To maintain relevance, users will only see stories from members who match their current filters on the Explore or Swipe pages—ensuring that content is always aligned with their interests.
From the admin side, you have full control over this feature, including the option to restrict story creation to paid members only, making it a powerful tool to drive both engagement and monetization.
To create a new story, member need to go to “explore” page and click on “Add Story”
Member can post a photo story, text only story or Video story. For video Story, the server need to enable FFMPEG
Thru admin panel, you can configure to allow only paid membership can boost profile thru “User roles” section.
